The graphics in Colin McRae Rally is excellent and incredibly varied. Colin McRae Rally takes you through 8 different countries in the world, each with 6 or 7 special stages and every one of the 54 special stages has its own character. From New Zealand’s outback, through the mountain snow and tarmac stages of Monte Carlo, the beaches, paddy fields and rainforests of Indonesia, to the unpredictable UK stages, it is a graphical treat from start to finish. It is also very fast – you get a good sensation of speed in this game, as the scenery whizzes past you at a mind-boggling rate. In addition, the cars look very realistic; the car interior shakes about in response to what the car is doing, to simulate the driver head movement, but it never gets in the way of the action.
