Knockout Kings 2001 is a comprehensive Boxing simulation title. Every possible aspect of the game is covered in minute detail. This game feels polished, everything from the feel of boxing to the superb commentary from Harry Carpenter and Barry McGuigan. Electronic Arts have gone to great lengths to add authenticity to their sports titles in the past and Knockout Kings 2001 is no exception. Several professional boxers including British champion Lennox Lewis were scanned to realistic represent every part of their bodies. Additionally, Knockout Kings 2001 features dynamic punch control that allows players complete control every blow thrown in a combination. The possibilities are practically endless. Thanks to the advanced graphical power of the PlayStation 2, this title looks fantastic. The game is displayed in high-resolution graphics and the animation is extremely smooth. It takes no time at all to get lost in Knockout Kings. Solid in-depth gameplay plus superb visuals creates a stunning boxing title, definitely recommended.
