Anime movie adaptation of the Level-5 game series for the Nintendo DS. Detective Professor Layton (voice of Yo Oizumi) and his apprentice, Luke (Maki Horikita), visit the Crown Petone Opera House where Jenis Quatlane (Nana Mizuki), a past student of Layton’s, is performing. While there, Layton and Luke learn of strange going-ons at the theatre and of a number of people going missing in London. During the opera performace a masked man threatens the life of the audience members after discussing the Eternal Life. The investigative duo chase the man but when Inspector Grosky (Hochu Otsuka) intervenes, the man evades capture. Layton and Luke must unveil the mystery of the Eternal Life in order to stop the fiend from carrying out his intentions.
