Fasten your gloves, it’s boxing time. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s get ready to rumble. Ready 2 Rumble 2 is a highly playable and engaging beat-em-up. The idea is simple, whoever gets knocked down three times loses the bout. You have a variety of punches at your disposal, each one of your punches has varying amounts of speed and power. By holding down the triggers you can block either high or low. A successful strategy involves the right amount attacking combined skilful blocking and avoiding. In Rumble 2 you can now parry attacks, if you successfully parry an incoming attack, your opponent is off-balanced and ready for some severe punishment. If you score several hard-hitting shots your rumble meter fills up. When this gauge is full you can unleash a powerful combination attack. This rumble meter can be filled up three times over and if you manage to hit someone with this level 3 attack you’ll send them flying out of the ring. It’s the small touches that make this game. After you knock someone down you now have a few seconds to get a few unnecessary overkill shots in. Hidden in Ready 2 Rumble 2 are several famous characters. You can set up matches between Michael Jackson and Bill Clinton to find out who the toughest boxer. Ready 2 Rumble is definitely a party game, solid gameplay, gorgeous graphics and even comedy.
