Quiz show sensation The Weakest Link comes to the PS2, and now you can play at home with virtual ginge Anne Robinson. This is your opportunity to become a virtual contestant and win virtual money. Quiz games are becoming increasingly popular. Who Wants to be a Millionaire? rocketed to the top of the sales charts, and this is a dead cert to follow suit. The Weakest Link has more than 100,000 questions and is ideal for those multi-player moments. For all you cave-dwellers out there, the format of the show follows this basic formula. Nine contestants work together as a team, earning cash for correctly answering questions in succession. However, one wrong answer will blow the chain, losing the prize money accumulated, unless a contestant banks the winnings before answering their question. At the end of every round, each contestant votes for the poorest performer on the team, the player that they consider to be the biggest threat to their success. This is an interesting area of the gameshow: you need intelligent people to help you win money, but facing them in the final rounds could prove to be a nightmare. In The Weakest Link, there are 24 different characters to represent you and the option for seven people to play simultaneously. It might be easy playing from home, but wait until you have the pressure of playing the game for real. The last thing you need is a virtual Anne uttering those now immortal words.
