Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the green…there’s a Tiger about. It would, of course, be remiss of EA to let a golfing season slip by without getting Tiger Woods’ name onto a video game, and this year’s no different. This year there are upwards of 20 big name professional golfers lending their name to Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08. Trying out their swing are Tiger Woods (in case you hadn’t guessed), Camilo Villegas, Vijay Singh, Annika Sorenstam, Christie Kerr and Morgan Pressel. There are, as ever, a wealth of courses for you to stretch your slacks-clad legs on, including luxury locations such as Westchester Country Club, TPC Boston, Cog Hill and East Lake. You’ll be able to live the golfing dream, rising through the ranks from amateur level through to bumping clubs with the best of the best on the PGA Tour. For the more hard-headed golfers picking up the game, there’s a feature EA is calling ‘shot confidence’. You’ll be able to analyse every hole, tracking your performance through every shot to see where your strengths and weaknesses lie. Exclusive to the Wii version of the game is the opportunity to to throw your mates off their swing using four new taunting mechanisms. It seems a tad unprofessional to us, but who are we to comment on an otherwise civilised game like golf?

If you've come across those rascally Rabbids before, you'll know that can only be bad news for Britain's...

More Brain Training, How Old is Your Brain? If you spend a lot of time with your favourite gaming handheld in public, you've probably heard this sentence once or twice before. While most people have no problem subscribing to beliefs that attribute increased reaction times and better hand-eye coordination to regular exposure to games, 'making you...
