Did you ever want to play a truly realistic looking game? Something that looks like you’re watching coverage on TV? Yes? Well, Tiger Woods PGA Golf 2000 is as close as you’re gonna get. This instalment of the PGA Golf series looks stunning. Golf games are typically either loved or hated, but you at least have to try them to see which side of the fence you’re on. Conversion may not be too far away, you never know. Tiger’s joined by nine fellow professionals in this game, but let’s skip those details for now. All the endorsements and sponsorships in the world can’t replace playability. Gameplay, as always, is king. There are in excess of ten modes of play around with, including Season, Skins, and Shoot-Out competitions. PGA Golf’s learning curve is actually quite steep, and perhaps is already targeted at players who know a bit about golf. Once you can get past this it will soon become second nature; a little bit like learning to ride a bike. A welcome addition to this golf title is the course designer. You are free to create brand new bunker-ridden courses, or edit existing courses to suit your own preferences. With fantastic ball physics and character animation, Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf 2000 comes recommended to PC-owning golf fans.
